Rishabh Pant has been made the new captain of Lucknow Super Giants. Lucknow Super Giants bought Rishabh Pant for hopping Rs 27 crore in the auction. Rishabh Pant has also captained Delhi before this. Before Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul was the captain of the team. He captained the team in three seasons. During this time the performance of the team was decent.
Krunal Pandya and Nicholas Pooran was also in race of captaincy.

Rishabh Pant’s record in IPL
Rishabh Pant made his IPL debut in 2016. He has scored 3,284 runs in 111 matches in the IPL. He scored 684 runs in IPL 2018. During this, he played an unbeaten innings of 128 against Mumbai Indians. Apart from this, Pant has scored more than 400 runs in three seasons.
