Irfan Pathan said,
“When you are very experienced and are among the top 10 bowlers of India, you understand the limitations of your body very well. Shami has always given the correct information to the team management regarding his fitness. When you are constantly playing at the top level, it takes some time to recover from injury. According to me, the team management will take the right decision at the right time.”
It is believed that given the Champions Trophy 2025 , the team does not want to show any kind of haste regarding Shami. so maybe india team management dont want to take any risk for Champions Trophy if Jaspirt Bumrah not able to play Group stage matches of Champions Trophy then shami will be the indias main bowler. thats why they dont want to take any risk.
